Living simply, simply living...


Today's efforts to fight global climate change are dismissed by many as "too little, too late."  Dr. James Hansen, a leading NASA climatologist who first modeled global warming trends in the 1970s, warns that unless we eliminate all coal-burning power plants across the earth in 20 years, "the planet will be committed to change on a scale society will not be able to cope with" (Elizabeth Kolbert, "The Catastrophist," New Yorker, June 29, 2009).  

These are strong words from a man many regard as the first to understand the human element in global warming  and whose global warming predictions have proven correct.

The importance of living simply

Living simply can be summed up in one word - Love.

Love is what we all seek in everything we do. It makes the cloudy days pass quickly and the bright days neverending. It makes a difficult task easy and gives meaning and purpose to our lives

In the end, living simply is simply living - in Love.

More
